Kaaria Consulting’s Policy on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data

1. Introduction: Kaaria Consulting (“the Company”) is committed to the utmost care and diligence in the protection, processing, storage, and destruction of personal data, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) No. 6698 and related legislation. This policy outlines the procedures and principles related to the protection of personal data processed by our company.

2. Collection and Purpose of Processing Personal Data: Our company collects and processes the personal data of candidates and employees for purposes such as recruitment, career consulting, payroll management, fulfilling legal obligations, and similar aims within the scope of human resources and employment services. Personal data are processed based on legal grounds defined in the relevant legislation and within the scope of the obligation to inform.

3. Storage and Security of Personal Data: Kaaria Consulting takes technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of the collected personal data and to protect it against risks such as loss, unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Personal data are securely stored until they are destroyed when necessary, considering the legal retention periods.

4. Transfer of Personal Data: The company may transfer personal data to business partners, suppliers, authorized public institutions and organizations, in accordance with KVKK and other relevant legal regulations, for fulfilling legal obligations and contractual responsibilities. Data transfers are carried out with international standard security measures, respecting the rights of the data owners.

5. Rights of the Data Subject: Under the KVKK, data subjects have the right to learn if their personal data are processed; if so, request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately; know the third parties to which it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction if processed incompletely or inaccurately; request deletion or destruction in accordance with the provisions of KVKK and other related laws; request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction processes to the third parties to whom the personal data have been transferred; object to an unfavorable result from the analysis of the processed data solely by automated systems; and request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of their personal data.
